We aim to consistently deliver a positive playing experience at a national level through implementation of a localised approach at every centre. Our Centre Managers play a key role in determining this localised approach.

This role is multi-faceted with you overseeing the day to day running of the facility, staff wellness and retention to make sure they contribute to the 5* standards and bringing an overall level of quality to the facilities that will see the members exceptionally happy.

We are looking for an experienced Sports & Leisure General Manager of our spectacular new Padel4all centre in Southend-on-Sea. The centre offers 4 courts, and hosts a full range of programmes and local activity as well as regional and national events.

You will work closely with the club coaches who will lead and empower support coaches to deliver a progressive and engaging programme which aligns with our mission statement. They will become part of a highly motivated team of people who are passionate about ensuring Padel4all is the benchmark for padel provision in the UK.

The Role

The role will see you responsible for a large amount of duties that will have a huge affect on the club including but not limited to

- Day to day running of the facility
- Inspiring and developing a high performing team
- Providing excellent levels of customer service, consistently going above and beyond to deliver
- Running the best programme in the country
- Managing budgets, KPIs, P&L and driving club performance

This role has a strong focus on standards and levels of service, so whoever comes in needs to have that in mind and be willing to deliver upon this

The Person

We are looking for experienced leisure professionals who can demonstrate a high level of experience when running their own clubs, leisure facilities, with an understanding about the levels of service needed to make their club a success.

You must be a strong leader and people motivator, who can get the best from a team but also be willing to roll up your sleeves when needed. If you have a passion for padel and a drive to succeed, this is the role for you!

· Organised and can communicate effectively with a good level of spoken English

Overview of the Venue
Padel4all Garon Park is located at the heart of the Southend Leisure & Tennis Complex which already plays host to multiple sports including cricket, golf, and football. Southend itself is a large coastal town and is the nearest seaside resort to London.

The brand-new padel centre offers 3 floodlit courts under a specially designed fabric canopy, allowing year-round play. The centre will also feature a panoramic show court which will provide the perfect padel stage for showcasing the sport. The courts are equipped with the latest in padel technology and with its very own coaches’ cabin, covered reception and viewing areas, the centre itself makes for a fantastic working environment.

Summary

This employed position with fully paid salary and performance bonus offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious centre manager to be involved with an exciting project in state-of-the-art facilities.

Padel4all will provide the training and opportunities for continued development within this role. The company will also provide sponsorship for a visa.

Note: we are required to carry out background checks on those who work with children or vulnerable adults. Candidates are therefore advised that an Enhanced DBS application would be requested, and two employment reference checks will be carried out.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00 per year
