The Role
Express Lifts Co is currently recruiting for a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing varied projects within a specified Geographical area – predominantly Major Modernisation Projects or New Equipment Installation Projects. For this position, we are looking for someone based across the Hampshire area.
As the Project Manager you will:
- Be responsible for projects from point of booking through to financial completion
- Continually strive to provide cost effective project delivery whilst meeting all contractual requirements
- Manage our people on site, including sub-contractors, ensuring that quality and safety standards are not compromised
- Be responsible for ensuring projects are on time, within budget and in accordance with the contract scope
- Regularly monitor and review progress against plan (both financial and project) and if necessary, take action to mitigate delays and claims and bring the programme back on track
- Identify opportunities for project efficiencies and variations to the contract
Skills/Experience required
- End-to-end Project Management experience within the Lift, Construction or Engineering sector
- MS office applications including MS project
- CSCS card, SSSTS or SMSTS is desirable
- Strong Stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Have good planning, problem solving and communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate you can cope in an exciting and demanding operations environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
