Role Overview:

To provide project and organisational support to the Programme Management Office (PMO), analysing and interpreting different project and change data to use in project planning and delivery, plus undertaking co-ordinating and monitoring activities relating to the work of the PMO team. This could be across more than one project or programme.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the PMO in production of core material such as highlight report, plans and change controls and help manage the change board.
  • Monitor project timescales, record the achievement of project milestones, issue reminders to prompt others when the agreed actions are pending/ overdue, and escalate delays as appropriate.
  • Drop into projects and programmes in distress or need of attention to provide rigour, project management and leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Literacy and numeracy sufficient to undertake the tasks and duties of the role
  • Experience of undertaking a range of co-ordination and monitoring activities to support others to successfully deliver projects and/or programmes of work
  • Experience of researching, collating, processing and analysing information/data of potentially complex data sets to support project planning and delivery activities
