Retail Sales Assistant (Full-time)

OG Kicks is a popular streetwear store in Brighton’s North Laines. Due to our continued success we are seeking a full-time Sales Assistant. This role will predominately involve working on the shop floor, and will also include assistance with stock control, fulfilling online orders and customer communications.

We aim to deliver the ultimate shopping experience, so you will need to have a flair for serving and advising customers to achieve a positive lasting impression. Previous sales or customer service experience is essential.

Responsibilities and duties

• Provide an amazing sales experience
• Process cash and card transactions
• Assist with visual merchandising and keep the shop tidy
• Buy and trade stock from customers under supervision
• Continuously develop your product knowledge
• Assist with responses to customer communications from all media
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues when necessary
• Provide day-to-day operational assistance including cashing up
• Assist with inventory management
• Maintain stock of stationery, labels etc. to ensure the smooth running of the business
• Assistance with the fulfilment of online sales, and returns as necessary

Qualifications and skills

• 1+ years’ experience in retail sales
• Sound knowledge of trainers and streetwear
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good IT and organisational skills
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Able to stand for an 8-hour shift

Hours of work

Five days out of seven each week. Monday to Saturday 10.15am to 6.30pm; Sunday 11am to 5.15pm. Shifts will be on a rota and so some weekend working is required.

Job Type: Full-time
