As a Healthcare Assistant on the theatre at our Taunton Nuffield Hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s even better.
As a Healthcare Assistant in Theatre, you will:

With three new state of the art Ultra Clean Air operating theatres and an endoscopy suite we are proud of the wide range of surgical services and treatments available. The hospital has 41 private en-suite bedrooms split over 2 wards and 11 consulting rooms within our Outpatients Department. Our highly experienced consultants and dedicated matron-led nursing team are here to ensure patients receive the best care possible. Our areas of specialty include orthopaedics and spinal surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, bariatric treatments and diagnostic imaging. Our most recent CQC inspection was undertaken in July 2016 and we were very proud to be rated overall as Good, with Outstanding for Well Led.
