An excellent opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer looking to join one of the UK’s leading providers of turnkey solutions for Weighing, Process Control Systems, Belt Weighing and Boiler Acoustic Leak Detection Systems.
Established for over 40 years, Procon Engineering specialise in providing engineering solutions into a wide variety of industries, including food & drink, chemical, pharmaceutical, power and nuclear. As a leader in their specialist field, we are now looking for a Sales Engineer – Leak Detection and Process Control Systems to join our expert sales team.
What you will be doing...
Reporting to the Sales Manager the Sales Engineer will be responsible in assisting with the efficient running of the sales department. Serve customers by identifying their needs; both technically and commercially, generate proposals and provide engineering solutions of product and services
What we are looking for...
This role would suit an individual experienced in customer facing sales, with strong technical and engineering skills, who is looking for the chance maximise their earnings and career progression opportunities at an industry leading company.
Primarily home based, critical to this role will be maximising relationships and revenue within existing customers, including oversees agents and distributors, so willingness to travel overseas is essential, as well as business development within the UK for both sales and service.
Your previous technical sales experience will act as a strong foundation to you meeting client needs and achieving departmental goals. Some previous experience in the power generation industry and/or Industrial Weighing and Process Control Systems would be an advantage.
