From business start-ups to carers, babies just learning to talk to those at the end of life, our Library Service is committed to supporting everyone in Norfolk to read for pleasure and to access information and a wide range of social activities that will help them live healthy, fulfilling, and independent lives.
If you are confident with IT, enjoy engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds and LOVE a good book, the Millennium Library needs you!
The role may involve some time when you work on your own, but you will receive plenty of training for this and every other aspect of this interesting and rewarding role.
NB: you will not be eligible to apply for these roles if you have a Level 4 qualification or above (e.g. Key Skills level 4, NVQ level 4, BTEC Professional award, certificate and diploma level, Certificate of higher education, HNC, Foundation Degree, Degree etc)

We are the main local authority for Norfolk providing services countywide to more than 850,000 Norfolk residents. We take the lead in critical policy areas, working with 84 elected Members responsible for the strategic local government services in the county.
We provide a high quality service through involving people who use our services to shape and comment on them and by promoting efficiency and innovation.
We work in partnership with local businesses, voluntary organisations and other local authorities such as District and Parish Councils to provide the people of Norfolk with excellent services.
