Marketing Assistant

Our Swindon based client is on the hunt for a Marketing Assistant to offer support on various marketing projects across the department. A leader in their beauty sector, our client is offering up to £24,000 pa, alongside exceptional company benefits. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven and ambitious graduate with a creative marketing mindset!

You will be supporting a busy marketing and PR team with a range of activities from social media to events to ecommerce and PR. This is a newly created role to support the growth of the brand and customer reach.

As Marketing Assistant, you will be…

• Assisting in the planning, development and execution of marketing activities
• Ensuring content is on-brand and published in a timely manner, including proof reading and supporting copywriting of materials
• Oversee project management timelines across main activities on behalf of Director and report progress
• Collating market-research initiatives, such as surveys, focus groups and panels
• Supporting social media activities by coordinating gifts for influencers,
• Drafting creative assets for use across web and external advertising
• Supporting the organising of marketing PR events such as round tables and media meetings
• Providing administrative support to the team as required

To be considered for the role of Marketing Assistant, you must have the following skills and experience:

• A degree or relevant in Marketing or a creative subject
• Any previous marketing experience would be ideal but we would be happy to hear from fresh grads
• Strong written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• An eye for design, previous design experience with Adobe CS, Canva or similar
• Proactive and a true team player
• A passion for the beauty and skincare sector
• Strong organisational and time management skills

The role itself…

Working in this fast-paced environment supporting the Marketing department, you will be getting your creative juices flowing helping launch initiatives and key projects into the market. You’ll have the opportunity to support the Marketing team across print collateral, design and events. This role would best suit somebody who has a genuine passion for digital marketing and the beauty/ skincare space.
