Our Role

As an Aslaid Technician, you will support the Programme and Operational Team and working as part of our contract providing support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively recorded for the purposes of financial auditing and tracking, future network planning, maintenance and service assurance. The as-built information must contain accurate and detailed instructions to accomplish the task of recording and tracing the full (end-to-end) network.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

· Liaise with the Operations Team ensuring they are capturing data and providing locations of all new assets, which will be measured and referenced relative to the existing drawings in GIS

· Input manual data which is required for accurate input to the GIS system

· Document red line drawings to include all new assets installed onto the water network, including any additional assets (i.e. ferrules / Fire Hydrants / valves)

· Document and record on an Aslaid drawing all new assets installed onto the water network, including any additional assets (i.e. ferrules / Fire Hydrants / valves)

· Plot all new assets to the clients’ GPS requirements (contract / client specific) utilising the necessary GPS survey equipment

Experience and Qualifications

· You will have experience working in the Utilities industry

· Experience of working with AutoCAD

· Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures

· Excellent communication skills

· High attention to detail

· Logical mind
