Marketing Assistant

There's a long way to go, and we're looking for an ambitious marketing assistant to help us get there.

We're looking for

• We're looking for an enthusiastic marketer who is hands-on and ready to help us deliver our marketing plans.
• This role is perfect for someone early on in their marketing career, who will want exposure to the whole spectrum of marketing a fast-growth tech startup
• A friendly go-getter who’s comfortable talking to a single person or a large crowd
• You're a hands-on type who enjoys writing (and there’ll be a lot of it) and flexing your creative muscles
• You'll be someone who understands the kind of humour that would work well with single Muslims across the UK and beyond
• You're organised and structured, but can be flexible to the fast-paced environment of a startup like ours

Day to Day

• You’ll work closely with the Brand team to help execute global marketing campaigns - whether that’s an influencer campaign on Monday, billboard campaigns on Wednesday, or an event on Friday
• Plan and execute engaging social media campaigns alongside the Social Media Executive across a range of digital channels
• You’ll own some of the customer comms, including writing newsletters, blog posts and in-app messages whilst making sure it’s in line with our tone of voice
• Supporting with events, attending content shoots and liaising with the Studio team to deliver campaign assets
• Work closely with Brand and PR teams to build media and influencer partnerships

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience in marketing
• Authorization to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Comfortable and confident talking to all sorts of people in public
• Available to come into London office (E1) on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• There is some travel required (approx once a month / once every two months)
• Strong time management and project management skills
• A strong writer who is effective at getting their point across succinctly
• Good project management and communication skills. You will need to work with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
• Eager to learn, you'll bring passion to the exciting future we are building

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
