Warehouse Manager with excellent organizing and administrative skills to run our warehouse in North Shields
(UK).

Job function
The purpose of the position is to ensure the professional support delivered by the Warehouse Department to the rest of the company, and thereby create value for the company in the form of a cost efficient spending, support in planning, relieving operational employees (based in other departments) from basic Warehousing tasks and administration. The result must be achieved through collaboration, good Warehouse coordination with a focus on costs, efficiency and Muehlhan Wind Service values.

Muehlhan Wind Service is a global company based in Denmark and the Warehouse Manager may be required to occasionally travel to other warehouses to carry out necessary duties.

Main tasks:

• Maintain a clear and open communication channel between the warehouse and other business units
• Create job satisfaction and ensure that appropriate development plans are in place for employees of the department
• Delegation and follow-up of work tasks (to Warehouse Assistants)
• Responsible for daily and continuous supervision of the team and constant dialogue with direct reports
• Responsible for all work taking place in accordance with current HSE and Labor Law rules
• and GDPR Law
• Ensure that the team is sufficiently staffed to handle short term and long term needs
• Focus on continuous improvement in order to increase efficiency and create development opportunities for all employees
• Ensure all systems are always kept up to date with order, stock and certification information

Customer contact

• It is the Warehouse Managers responsibility to put the customer (internal) first and to the best of their ability live up to the customer's expectations.
• Maintain a close and constructive contact with the customer (internal) and address problems and conflicts as early in the process as possible
• Make sure to keep the customers informed about current schedules, extra work, any delays, organizational changes, etc.
• Maintain an organised system so any required report or information is easily accessible

Required qualifications/competencies:

• Practical approach to join the daily work of picking and packing in the warehouse when needed
• An approachable and understanding personality
• Strong leadership skills
• Have the ability to organize work and effectively prioritise tasks
• Focused on communication with the team
• A positive attitude and commitment to work
• Proficiency with writing, speaking and understanding English

Desirable qualifications/competencies:

• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics BC365
• Experience within the wind industry
• Experience within a project based company
• Forklift license
