Morr & Co are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join a friendly, professional and busy Marketing and BD team. Reporting into the Marketing & Business Development Director, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on a broad range of the firm’s marketing activities. This is a diverse and hands on role working across all areas of the business, where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the profile of Morr & Co.

The fundamentals of the role…

  • Work with practice leaders and senior colleagues to create, deliver and report on initiatives that support and help drive forward the marketing objectives identified in the firm’s business plan, as well as departmental, sector and region plans
  • Responsible for creating, delivering and monitoring the performance of initiatives that raise the general profile of the firm and its practices with key audiences, including businesses, individuals and families, across each target market and region
  • Drive forward and manage the firm’s digital marketing activities, including working with other team members to manage the firm’s website, social channels, SEO and paid campaigns, and managing the day-to-day relationships with external agencies
  • Responsible for creating and delivering client events such as conferences, hospitality events, webinars and seminars and ensuring they are delivered to the right target audience efficiently and on budget
  • Attending relevant events (internal and external) to represent and promote the firm
  • Work with various teams across the firm to create client focussed and engaging content, including blogs, press releases, articles client newsletters, thought leadership pieces and video content.
  • Creating marketing collateral and promotional materials and coordinate an effective online and offline advertising strategy in each region
  • Working with practice leaders to produce legal directory submissions, such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500
  • Responsible for creating compelling submissions for industry and regional business awards
  • Manage and report on the tracking of new business leads and monitoring campaign ROI.
  • Regularly engage with colleagues in each department and office to get feedback on our existing events, looking for improvements and to discuss new opportunities
  • Support the delivery of internal staff events, such as the staff conference and social events
  • Support the Marketing & BD Director on other projects and initiatives

The suitable candidate will…

  • Degree educated – a marketing qualification would be an advantage
  • At least 4 years’ experience, ideally working within Professional Services in a Marketing/Comms capacity
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
  • Experience of digital marketing and running campaigns
  • Ability to plan and implement a variety of events from seminars to conferences, running various projects simultaneously
  • Have a creative and innovative approach to all content, comms and event planning
  • Organised self-starter with ability to work under pressure and influence others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a team player with drive, enthusiasm and the ability to think outside of the box
