The Role:
Responsibilities:
As a General Foreman – you will be:
- Ensure that construction activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with programme, budget and quality requirements.
- Design input and support within discipline including MEI HAZCON & constructability.
- Support to Construction Manager in site survey supervision and management.
- Understanding of temporary works for RC structures.
Required:
- SSSTS
- CSCS
- Previous experience in the Energy sector preferred but not essential
About our Energy Sector:
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Our work involves maintaining the safe supply of electricity, reducing potential customer interruptions and minutes lost for our customers including National Grid and Scottish and Southern Energy Networks.
We also deliver non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers. We are currently working for BAE Systems on their £300 million eight-year redevelopment programme, which will transform the submarine building capabilities of the BAE site in Barrow-in-Furness.
