Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Rail business unit for an ambitious and talented Document Controller.
The Document Controller will set up, manage and maintain project document control systems in line with the company, customer and project.
The Document Controller will be experienced in database management and processing deliverables, preferably for rail contracts. The individual must be very technically minded and confident in training others around them on document control processes.
Experience of using the following software's is desirable:
Viewpoint for Projects (4P)
Viewpoint for Field (Field View)
The person:
- Educated to NVQ level or equivalent
- Experience on Infrastructure projects essential
- Previous Document Control experience
- Knowledge in use of spreadsheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software
- Experience setting up and using electronic document management systems
- Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports
- Ability to use computer and rapidly input data and retrieve records and information

From landmark station refurbishment projects and platform extensions to tunnelling works and bridge launches, we have a track record of delivering rail projects that are helping to provide a rail network fit for the 21st century.
