Mid weight Interior Designer

Monnow Interiors is a dynamic Interior Design Company, based in the beautiful Wye Valley, near Monmouth. Monnow Interiors is aimed at the reasonably high end residential market, and also commercial interiors such as bars, restaurants, coffee shops etc. In addition, Monnow Interiors is linked with Mewscraft Ltd., a commercial design and refurbishment Company based at the same address. As a company, we pride ourselves on offering outstanding designs and service.

We’re looking to build upon our fantastic team with an exceptionally talented individual. You will have an opportunity to demonstrate your creativity and passion for design, to deliver great projects which not only exceed our clients’ expectations but also reflect our vision and values.

Daily Acitivies are commonly:

• Creative space planning
• Concept/moodboard imagery
• 3D visualisations
• Site surveys
• Presentations
• Furniture design
• Project management
• Trade drawings i.e. light plans

Proficiency in AutoCad software for both 2D and 3D is required. Other attributes which would help are:

• Must be an artistic person
• A practical, hands on approach to refurbishment
• Site management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to deliver confident and inspiring presentations
• Experience in joinery detailing & construction details
• Highly organised with experience in project scheduling and budgeting
• Proactive and self motivated and exceptional attention to detail, natural solutions-person, able to react and adapt to changing requirements
• Access to a car
• Interior Design or similar qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
