Location : Sheffield
Weekly Pay : £460
Working Hours : Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:15 overtime available on Friday at time and a half
The Client
Our client is the world-leader in high-pressure Gas and Hydrogen containment and have 125 years’ knowledge and experience with clients such as Ministry Of Defence (MOD), BOC and Naval.
Opportunity :
We require 3 Trainee Mechanical Fitters to join our client on a 20 week Temp to Perm basis.
Main Duties as a Trainee Mechanical Fitter :
- Striping trailers
- Refitting cylinders, valves and gauges
- Testing for leaks on highly pressurised cylinders
- refitting high pressurised cylinders (Gas or Hydrogen)
- Refurbing trailers
- Installing steel straps on to trailer
- Using various types of mechanical working tools
- Removal of external trailer chassis
Experience / Skills
- Ideally at NVQ Level 2 qualified (Mechanical Engineering) but not essential
- One Year+ Mechanical experience
- Industrial Tool knowledge
- Mechanical knowledge
- Happy to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Self motivated
- Organised
- Pro active
- Hard Worker
