Job Description

Metaprise is seeking a Business Analyst to be based in our London office where he/she will collaborate with the existing Success and Product teams and have the opportunity to engage directly with and report to the group CEO. The ideal candidate will have an enterprise background, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in fintech.

What You’ll Do

• Establish the needs of Metaprise's global customers and/or users, some of which include reputable fortune 500 companies.
• Act as a resource to Sales and Product during sales pursuits and Proof-of-Concept efforts and essentially provide expertise on Metaprise's solution to determine feasibility and fit for institutional and primarily enterprise-level customers’ prospective needs.
• Maintain open communication with Metaprise's global customers and/or users to clarify demand.
• Define an effective strategy to ascertain core requirements against secondary requirements.
• Prioritise the imminent needs of the business based on data and research and convey these findings in a concise, structured manner.
• Take ownership of creating structured documentation (e.g. backlogs of user stories) and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
• Utilise effective reporting tools and maintain competency when using them.

Develop internal efficiencies to be easily replicated globally.

• Structure findings and collate Proof of Concept/BRDs/PRDs to that effect.
• Collaborating as part of a team (i.e. a "unit) including a sales manager and business development associate.
• Advise senior stakeholders and C-suite to deliver projects, highlighting opportunities for growth and additional revenue.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

• A minimum of three years of business analysis experience in a B2B product software company.
• An in-depth overall understanding of user requirements, target markets, and competitive landscapes.
• An in-depth overall understanding of the ever-evolving fintech industry.
• Familiarity with effective reporting tools.
• Advanced analytical insight and business acumen.
• An in-depth understanding of existing and future banking/finance industry trends.
• The ability to communicate with various stakeholders (clients, project managers/owners).
• The ability to collaborate effectively with global product, tech and finance teams (US, EMEA, Southeast Asia).
• Excellent communicative skills.

Desirable

• Digital transformation-related product experience, ideally in a fintech capacity.
• Proficiency in writing Proof of Concepts/BRDs/PRDs (detailed requirement /process maps/use case specifications/wireframes, logical data models etc).
• Professional experience within a fintech capacity.
• Strong analytical skills, and ability to understand problems and express complexities in clear terms to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• An extensive understanding of regulatory compliance in a financial capacity.
• A natural ability to influence various international teams without a direct reporting structure.
• The desire to be part of a close-knit, international, supportive team.
• The ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
• A strategic outlook.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
