With our well respected CMM Programmer and Quality Inspection Supervisor moving away, we’re now in a position to take on a new CMM Programmer and Quality Inspection Supervisor to join our small team of two, in order to take on responsibility for day to day CMM programming, and of quality inspection matters for CNC machined components and parts coming into goods-in.

What experience will you need?
You’ll be an experienced Quality Inspector and CMM Programmer, comfortable using MCOSMOS to create new CMM programs. You’ll be happy completing first offs and in-process inspections, carrying out first article and final inspections against drawings.

You’ll probably have more than two years’ experience of working as a Quality Inspector and CMM Programmer but if you have the skills already in less time, then we'll welcome your application too.

As an experienced CMM Programmer and Quality Inspector you’ll know this already but to be clear, you’ll be confident in using CMM programming software (in this case MCOSMOS, sometimes known as MiCAT or GEOPAK under the Mitutoyo brand), and a range of precision inspection tools to check dimensions of machined components to include gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, microscopes and similar equipment. It would be great if you have some experience of supervising others too, but this isn’t necessarily essential for this role because the small team of two already in place are well established in their roles whilst also being keen to learn and to take on more responsibility.

You'll also know that paperwork comes with this job too, which I'm sure you're very happy to hear. You'll have a good idea of what you're doing where this is concerned but we'll get you up to speed with our processes too!

Location: Witney, commutable from Burford, Carterton, Eynsham, Oxford and surrounding areas.
Working hours: 37.5 hour working week 07:00 -15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:00-12:30 Friday
