Your Mission: The Email Marketing Specialist is a member of the Global Marketing Operations organization.The Specialist is a system administrator with a strong understanding and mastery of Marketing Automation and Email Marketing. This role works with internal stakeholders on complex and timely assignments to support putting campaigns into the market while ensuring best practices across all email sends.

The role requires independent action, a high degree of initiative and organization to reach desired outcomes. This position acts as a key point of contact for outbound communications to global audiences in all business segments and brands under the Life Sciences business unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design and execute email marketing and lead nurturing sequences
  • Manage internal stakeholder requests in timely and professional manner Identify appropriate target contact groups and targeting strategies
  • Create campaign assets (emails, forms, landing pages, etc.)
  • Manage Schedule of email communications and ensure delivery of prioritized messages
  • Report on campaign and asset performance
  • Subject matter expert and operations professional
  • Enforce operational business processes and SLA for email shared service
  • Advise on best practices
  • Analyze and optimize campaigns-A/B testing to optimize campaign performance
  • Make informed recommendations on how to improve performance
  • Enforce branding and domain standards for multiple brands in multiple geographies
  • Other as required to meet the company's goals
  • Manage marketing automation system, including: Maintain quality of Marketing Database Design and implement always on nurturing campaigns
  • Design automations as needed to support execution

Your Competencies:

  • Basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS required
  • Experience working with CRM systems required; Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Understanding of key online marketing strategies and concepts
  • Technical savvy and comfort with software applications
  • Ability to think logically and analytically to solve complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, project and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and team leadership
  • Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner PMP or CAPM preferred
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript a plus

Your Education and Experience:

  • Experience in designing and executing automated marketing programs required; Eloqua or Pardot preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; in Business Administration or Communications preferred
