Part Time Milk Roundsman/woman - Delivery Driver

Mead Farm Foods Ltd is a food producer and doorstep deliveries business based at the Mead Farm in Redwick, South Wales, NP26 3DE.

We have a great opportunity to join our team of drivers at Mead Farm Foods Ltd.

We are looking for a very well organised candidate who can manage their time efficiently and work independently.

In return we offer long term employment on a Part Time basis, very attractive role for extra income.

No short term contracts are available, we would like to work with someone who stays with the company.

You need to be reliable and confident, work well independently but also engage with the team and communicate effectively.

You need to be flexible and have ability to work night shifts and weekends, including Bank Holidays.

The working hours would be 3-4 shifts per week (including Fridays and alternating Saturdays), start time is from 12am to around 6am the latest depending on orders for each shift but may vary on during training.

Pay starting at £11.00/hour.

*The hours may be different during the training period, therefore, flexibility is required.

To be a good Milkman/women you need to be:

• Excellent at time management and planning skills
• Taking responsibility for accurate and on time deliveries
• Have very good attention to details
• Be physically fit, as this is a fast-paced environment
• Happy working night shifts

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carry out deliveries during the night shifts.
• Maintaining great customer service - accuracy of deliveries, successfully finding new customer's location.
• Keeping the accurate records of new customer's directions, updating the maps and customers data base.
• Preparing correct products for each delivery.
• Preparing delivery notes.
• Holiday cover for other drivers - flexibility will be required.
• Basic van maintenance.
• Looking after vehicles cleanliness.
