Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant | Lincoln
Salary: upto £28,000 depending on experience
Full-time hours Monday to Friday - Remote working
Our client a leading services business, are looking to further grow their team with an experienced bookkeeper / accounts assistant on a full time basis. This position is a standalone role, working closely with the companies external accountants. As the bookkeeper / accounts assistant will be responsible for maintaining an efficient, organised and accurate accounts department.
The Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant will report to the owner and the role will include the following tasks: -
Bookkeeping taking the accounts to trial balance- Maintaining Purchase & Sales Ledger
- Raising sales invoices and applications
- Processing purchase invoices
- Accounts administration
- Liaison with external accountants
- Ad hoc accounts and administration duties
- Experienced bookkeeper / accounts assistant with comprehensive ledger management
- Ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision
- Ideally AAT studier / AAT Qualified
- Experience of Xero ideally and excel
- Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
