Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels.

Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Pheasant and lead the team to success!

What’s more, our impressive drinks portfolio combines well-known brands, like Estrella and Hobgoblin, with outstanding craft ales and beers. About the pub

The Pheasant is a large community pub with a strong food offering. Situated on a small shopping precinct in Ashford, with Sainsburys and a number of small private shops, businesses, and a nursery nearby. It benefits from a large carpark for all to use. The surrounding area has a large number housing areas, business parks and is just a mile away from a local venue park that has a garden centre, and a selection of fast food businesses, meaning plenty of passing trade.

The pub's clientele is a real mix of ages during the day including retired, families, young, and business, in the evenings turns more into a locals pub but still a mixture of guest ranges. The Pheasant offers pool and darts facilities, perfect for pulling in teams however, does not have Sky Sports in situ.

There is spacious 3 bedroom accommodation available to the General Manager.

This site is really set up for success, with a strong senior team of 2 Assistant Managers and a Head Chef (who is also an Area Lead Chef) in place as well as full FOH and BOH team.
