Game Data Analyst

Marmalade Game Studio is the leading developer and publisher of digital premium board games, with notable successes including Monopoly, The Game of Life, Cluedo, Jumanji, Taboo and more. We are passionate about what we do and have seen tremendous success in creating high-quality games loved by people all over the world.

Our talented team is looking for a Game Data Analyst to drive the growth of Marmalade’s games. As an essential part of the product team, your main focus will be analysing and interpreting data about our games.

You must reside in the UK and be eligible to work here. Our main studio is located in London. The role is open to remote candidates within the UK. Occasional travel to our London studio is required.

Responsibilities

Use quantitative analysis to understand how our games are played and identify impact and growth opportunities

Support the product team in their day-to-day needs

Proactively+ come up with actionable analysis across engagement, monetisation, and marketing

Use sound analytics to improve our business across live operations, product and marketing

Help to define the analytics stack for Marmalade

Requirements

Proven track record and experience as a game analyst (or similar role)

Great communication skills. Both written and verbal, especially for a non-technical audience

Proactive drive to improve our games

Sound product judgement, ability to ask important questions of the available data and present clear actionable insights

Knowledge of live operations, monetisation and user acquisition

Who you are

Interested in board games (digital and/or physical)

A self-starter who can hit the ground running, use their initiative and proactively develop and present potential solutions

Collaborate and able to work successfully in team environments - both in person and remotely

Comfortable working under pressure in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment
