We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our team with an immediate start. 40 hours a week with flexibale days. Based at Chorley with 1-2 days a week at Bury / Ormskirk. Possibilty of a permanent contract after 3 months.The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work on the building and its equipment, as well as ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. This position requires a strong attention to detail, knowledge of basic tools and equipment, and the ability to work independently. The Maintenance Person will be expected to complete tasks in a timely manner while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and machinery.
- Inspect and diagnose problems with equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery.
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols when performing maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other related tasks.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Salary: £14.00 per hour
