About the role
As a Care Assistant/Carer on our team, you’ll care for our residents like they’re your own family, a typical day will include:

• Engagement with residents for wellbeing, health & socialisation
• Providing comprehensive personal care, from bathing and toileting to application of creams
• Completing daily fluid & food charts
• Assisting a mealtimes
• Supporting with accessing of activities & entertainment

Oaklands
Oaklands Residential Home is located in the peaceful North Yorkshire village near Kirk Hammerton and is near to junction 31 of the A1 and the A59 is within easy reach. Local shops, surgery, pharmacy, public house and train station are all within a short walk of the home. Oaklands provides accommodation for 44 residents with 4 double en-suite rooms and 36 single rooms, 22 of which have en-suite facilities. All rooms are fully carpeted and decorated to a high standard. Each room contains a nurse call system, fire detection, bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. A dedicated dementia unit named The Acorn Suite is specifically designed to offer support to those suffering from dementia as well as adults with Mental Heath issues. There is a large well-maintained garden with a large secluded patio and a separate sun lounge for residents' use. There is parking available for up to 16 cars.
