THE ROLE
We’re looking to appointment an LGV1 Truck Driver to support our busy operations department – working amongst a community of hardworking individuals committed to the smooth running of our global motorsport programmes. Whilst based in Cumbria, the role also requires extensive international travel as an integral part of our winning motorsport teams.
The role responsibilities include:
- Delivering competition cars and equipment across the UK and Europe to meet precise arrival deadlines.
- Ensuring the truck is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and meets legal driving requirements.
- Taking responsibility for the correct completion of all necessary customs documentation as required.
- Ensure competition cars and equipment are handled safely and with care to avoid damage.
- Assisting in set-up and supporting operations as required on events.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a confident and hardworking team player who takes pride in their work.
You should have an enthusiastic and positive attitude, and a flexible approach to working hours.
You should have previous experience as a LGV1 Truck Driver, as well as European driving experience and clear knowledge of customs procedures.
While previous experience in the motorsport industry would be an advantage, it is not essential.
