Copywriter

About the role

LVFS Bournemouth have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced copywriter to join our Corporate Communications Team. We are looking for someone who can confidently and carefullycraft copy across a range of channels which engages our internal and external stakeholders.

Though we support Hybrid working – we require flexibility and would need you in the offices 3-4 days per week, happy to discuss at interview.

About You & Key Responsibilities

• Plan, write and deliver engaging, appropriate copy, across a range of channels, to support corporate communications objectives, including printed materials (e.g. member communications and corporate reports) and digital channels (e.g. newsletters, website and social media).
• Draft messages and blogs from the CEO and other senior leaders for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate the creative creation of content. Write stories, articles, blogs and information and work with the wider brand and communications team to develop wider-content pieces.
• Contributing creative ideas to corporate communications campaigns, crafting copy and identifying opportunities.
• Coordinate the production of content such as films (including script writing) and images to support corporate communications activity.
• Lead on our tone of voice work and act as a brand guardian
• Proof read, and edit copy and documents ensuring they meet our brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Support key projects for the corporate communications team, providing planning support.
• Evaluate activity and proactively suggest changes based on evaluation and evidence.
• Support day-to-day administrative activities and reports.

Key skills & experience

• Significant experience in a copywriting role which spans a range of internal and external channels and audiences
• Working direct with senior leaders, up to and including CEO
• Experience of evaluating activity
• Excellent writing skills, which demonstrates consideration for the audience and channel
• A passion for the English language, and the ability to apply it within TOV guidelines in a compelling manner.
• An ability to use insight to craft relevant and engaging copy
• Excellent people skills to develop strong external contacts and internal networks
• Good planning and project management skills & creative and problem solving skills
• Ability to cope with a diverse and varied workload whilst maintaining attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
• Works well under pressure and completes projects to time and on budget
• Experience of working with an in-house design team or similar to help produce content

Desirable:

• Financial Services knowledge and experience

Salary: £10.00-£200,000.00 per hour
