The Strategy Analyst performs research and analysis for selected opportunities, as well as broader market and country-specific analysis. The role works closely with capture teams while remaining independent, and analyse recent and emerging competitor, customer and industry trends to determine impacts on source selections and competitor offers/solutions.

The position involves collecting data, analysing a wide variety of approaches, applications, and solutions/technologies for a diverse set of new business pursuits.

The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, market and environment influences, and assess competitor technical/business strategies and capabilities and the resulting impact on win strategies, to include pricing and solution/offer design.

Tasks require knowledge and understanding of current technology and industry trends, engineering disciplines, rapid development of high-level architectures, architecture and/or manufacturing processes and disciplines, and business case analysis, to develop competitor bidding strategies to include cost/price modelling and solution estimation/development.
The analyst must be able to develop multiple perspectives and support with the development of tailored workshops and timely PTW recommendations, justified with data, analysis and insights.

The analyst must have exceptional attention to detail and be able to communicate findings confidently and effectively when required to capture teams and decision-makers to enable data -driven and situational-based decision making.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with some professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Min of 2 years in Industry in a similiar role.

• Confident and effective verbal communicator, and expert at communicating ideas and analysis through ppt and excel.
• Detail-orientated demonstrated through the standard of all deliverables.
• Initiative to learn new research methodologies, tools and techniques, and apply these in support of the constant evolution of CI and PTW.
• Works under very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy.
• Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources.
• Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
• Primarily internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
• Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
