Lanes -I are one of the UK’s fastest growing telecoms infrastructure provider, with a projected turnover in excess of £100 million, over 900 people and a network work of depots across London & the Southeast of England. Our purpose is to disrupt and challenge traditional build and methods and to deliver safe and sustainable infrastructure projects.
We are on the lookout for an experienced Fibre Splicer Supervisor to help oversee and ensure projects are being completed in a timely manner, whilst adhering to all Health & safety and ensuring all works is completed to a high standard.
As a Fibre Splicer Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of splicing engineers and be responsible for the end-to-end quality of our fibre network.
Responsibilities:
- Workload allocation and prioritisation
- Training and development of splicers
- Ownership of the delivery, quality, and H&S standards
- Be able to be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and organise a small team of fibre splicers tasked with ensuring the delivered network is of the highest quality, delivered on time, within budget and safely.
- Be the central point of contact and owner of serious incidents within the network
- Supporting installation team and routine maintenance team with any technical issues
- You will be responsible for Continual improvement - relating to the overall fibre specification, testing regime and quality standards
- Identification of known errors and remediation plans
- Toolbox talks
