Job description

If you're applying to our Technology Consulting graduate programme, there is no doubt you'll be aware of the vast, reach and impact of technology. Present and potent in every industry and every household, technology and the use of data, shape the way we live and work.

Solving a broad mix of challenges for our clients, KPMG's Technology Consulting practice is a dynamic and fast-paced place to be. We help to create opportunity in a world of increasing complexity.

As a Technology Consulting graduate at KPMG, you'll learn the skills to analyse, advise and deliver digital solutions for some of the most pressing issues facing business and society. We look to recruit those keen to develop a career in technology and who are interested in solving business issues in an innovative and sustainable manner. People who are passionate about continually adapting their skills and building their knowledge quickly will thrive with us. You'll have an interest in technology and a desire to get involved in a variety of complex projects.

We work collaboratively in teams, building relationships with colleagues who take care of each other. And, of course, with clients, to help solve problems quickly. We invest in new methods, new tools and capabilities, and combine expertise from across our Risk Consulting and Technology Transformation teams to deliver tailormade solutions to all of our clients.

As part of your three-year blended programme, you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of areas within Technology Consulting including, Tech Strategy or Risk, HCD, Cloud Transformation, Cyber, Data & Analytics, Business Analysis and Testing. For those that apply for this programme in our Glasgow office, you'll join our Tax Technology Analytics team. This team focuses on consulting, building and managing data and analytical solutions across our Tax and Legal practice. You will be collaborating with clients, tax professionals and other technologists to deliver these.

Your work will typically span the technology delivery lifecycle; shaping a project from requirements definition through to technical delivery and use of reporting software (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI) to build reports and share with clients. This includes advising on processes to address the challenges of adopting cloud technology and assisting the team with project management activities to ensure smooth running of projects.

As you progress, your Performance Manager will work with you to identify your goals and tailor any additional training you might need. KPMG will provide plenty of support and development opportunities to help you achieve your potential - primarily based on client work with the chance to gain technical qualifications or accreditations specifically suited to the work you will deliver.

In your role, you'll work flexibly across your location region - at engagement sites, our offices and home. We're creating a tech-driven business to empower and equip our people to be outstanding in delivery, no matter where they work - through inspiring collaboration spaces and new technologies.

Join us and be empowered to learn, grow and make your mark.
