What is the role title?

Your role title will be Production MIG Welder and unofficially, Process Engineer.

We know the working world / getting back into welding can seem daunting. That’s why we want to make it easier for you by helping develop a variety of skills such as;

• Welding (MIG) thin walled mild steel tube
• Knowledge of a production line
• Simplifying processes to reduce times
• Keeping a safe and responsive work environment
• Quality control
• Team work
• Eliminating defects within the production line
• Maintenance of equipment

The successful candidate will:

• Be open to learning about Lean Thinking and have researched it!
• Ensure quality is added with each process
• Implement personal and company safety measures including using the correct PPE at all times
• Have great communication skills
• Be punctual, reliable and takes pride in their appearance
• Show a willingness to learn
• Have impeccable housekeeping and timekeeping skills

How is accountability measured?

We are a team that holds ourselves and each other accountable, we leave our egos at the door. You will be responsible to management who have KPI's in which we all work towards to keep our company on track.

Hours:- Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm | Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm. Overtime is currently available

Pay: Starting rate £12.00ph

Once your probation period has finished, you will be assessed monthly on your skills, role and character, where your pay will be adjusted to match your rating.
