Description & Requirements
Position Summary The Junior Finance Analyst will support the Finance Manager with the operations, forecasting ,financial accounting, reporting and analysis for Matterkind UK & Ireland. It is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of he Matterkind Ireland P&L as well as support the wider UK & Ireland Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Financial planning and analysis
- Support the business plan, annual budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist in monitoring financial performance vs. forecasts.
Financial accounting & reporting
- Assist with the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the various business units.
- Support timely and accurate financial reporting of both local statutory and tax requirements as well as US GAAP requirements.
- Abide by the robust internal control procedures to enhance company control environment and ensure SOX compliance.
- Support balance sheet review and governance processes.
- Ad Hoc financial reporting tasks with local/regional teams.
Media Bill Pay
- Support the Finance Operations team by liaising with the business to ensure timely booking, billing, and reconciliation of media activity.
Financial administration
- Support the business with finance processes and procedure such as travel, expense, corporate credit cards, timesheets, adhoc billing requests.
- Transactional processing of POs, invoices, and intercompany service requests.
- Ad hoc financial administration tasks.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Related work experience
- Media or Advertising experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge & experience in operating
- Financial and Accounting systems -General Ledger, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proactive self-starter who is curious to understand how processes work and how they can be improved.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and people skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in an environment of change
