DNA Analyst

Position:

Duties & Responsibilities

• To work as part of a dynamic team, carrying out forensic DNA analysis and using the latest techniques on a range of sample types to assist in the investigation of serious and violent crime

• Produce work of exceptional quality to ensure compliance with International Standards, the requirements of the National DNA Database and Codes of Practice of the Forensic Science Regulator

• Work in an organised, safe and tidy manner and comply with Health and Safety Guidelines

Qualifications

• A scientific degree is preferred but not essential

Experience

• Previous laboratory experience would be an advantage

• Salary £20,050 per annum
• Hours – 37 per week
