The Kelly Group is a principal contractor supporting and providing engineering resource for over 35 years. We are currently looking to hire a finance administrator to join our growing team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Database entry of daily works completed by Operations on to our Database in order to calculate the weekly wages of crews
- Highlighting anomalies such as missing timesheets and following up daily with Site Managers
- Ensuring all necessary documents/additional cost approvals are on the database
- The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills - to be able to liaise effectively with all levels across the organisation
- PC literate with good keyboard skills, prior use of databases and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible and able to manage priorities in demanding time scales
- Accessing databases to obtain information for the department,
- Liaise with staff in other departments
- Produce and maintain excel spreadsheets when required by colleagues
- Any other duties required for the Finance Team
You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:
- Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications terminology
- Able to organise and prioritise work/tasks
- Well developed, client facing skills with a client orientated approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Willing to lead by example and work with own initiative
- Ability to work within a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to balance competing priorities and meet personal targets within a fluctuating & demanding workload
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Able to manage and respond positively to change
- Be alert to changing situations, show flexibility in approach, adaptability in difficult circumstances and continuously strive to achieve a result
