JKS Restaurants are seeking a Social Media, Community and Content Manager to join their Gymkhana Fine Foods team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Media, Community and Content Manager looking for a new role in an award-winning, critically acclaimed group.

Gymkhana Fine Foods

From the award winning and Michelin star kitchen of Gymkhana comes Gymkhana Fine Foods with the vision to transform and elevate Indian cooking at home to new heights. Launching in April, 2023 with a range of Indian pantry staples (cooking sauces, marinades and condiments) with recipes perfected in the kitchen of Gymkhana.

Since Gymkhana first entered the London dining scene ten years ago, it has transformed the way UK diners view Indian cuisine, maintaining it’s Michelin star every year, building a loyal community of fans including locals, celebrities, A-listers, foodies and travelers from around the world. JKS Restaurants, the group behind Gymkhana, partnered with former Mars Director, Gulrez Arora (CEO, co-founder) over their collective vision to bring the finesse, taste and experience of the finest Indian food into consumer’s home.

The Position

As the Social Media, Community and Content Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing our communications and marketing tactics across all of our social media channels. You'll work closely with the rest of the management team, CRM agency, content developers, and other key stakeholders to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop recommendations for best-in-class social media, influencer, and creator partnerships, content creation, and brand partnerships that support overall brand priorities
  • Execute and refine a best-in-class organic social/media channel strategy across Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn.
  • Drive content pillars, product line content approach, role of social influencers.
  • Lead the monthly calendar development and creative briefing
  • Report monthly on performance, learnings, and optimizations.
  • Stay up-to-date on key social trends and create engaging social content working closely with our in-house videographers and photographers
  • Develop and execute a strategy to engage and enlist Content creators, especially those that are a good fit for our brand and the type of content we need for GFF
  • Lead a best-in-class community engagement strategy and execution with our brand TOV
  • Oversee and execute social listening and community management, including a high touch consumer engagement strategy for high-value brand fans
  • Lead all planned and real-time content creation needed for the above social strategies working with influencers, agencies, and other creators and brand partners
  • Participate in signal and trend spotting to unveil real-time marketing opportunities.
  • Periodically audit competitor plans
  • Coordinate brand partnerships in service of content, buzz, and relevance
  • Collaborate on video and photo shoots in support of key themes and storytelling, in collaboration with the brand team
  • Be the social media expert on the team, continually driving for innovative ways to grow Gymkhana Fine Foods brand love and affinity.

Qualifications:

  • To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 5+ years of experience in social media and content creation, preferably within CPG, eCommerce, and/or a high-growth brand
  • A deep passion for food ideally Indian cuisine
  • Pulse on all things digital and social media
  • Strategic thinking and strong collaboration skills
  • Experience managing agencies
  • Excellent communication skills
