What you will be doing...
Senior Data Visualisation Developer, based Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.
Joining Jet2.com & Jet2Holidays as a Senior Data Visualisation Developer you will become part of our growing Data Visualisation team, delivering impactful data visualisation projects (using Tableau).
The team currently works with a range of departments including Pricing & Revenue, Overseas Operations and Contact Centre. This newly created role provides a fantastic opportunity to influence key business decisions through data visualisation in line with our Creating Memories pillar.
As part of the wider Data function, you will be Working as One Team alongside Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Business Analysts to help business users get the most insight out of their data. You will also support our growing internal community of Tableau users through engagement activities that develops their visualisation knowledge and data fluency.
What will you do in this role?

What will you do in this role?
- Create impactful data visualisation projects and dashboards using Tableau Desktop, working directly with senior stakeholders
- Be a subject matter expert on Tableau Desktop and upcoming new features
- Leading internal data visualisation engagement activity, which may include formal training, onboarding new users and championing visual best practices
- Providing technical support on Tableau to analysts in other business areas
- User/permissions management on Tableau Server, ensuring appropriate access is given to colleagues
- Line management or technical coaching of more junior team members

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
- Prior experience and subject matter expert in Tableau or a similar visualisation tool such as: Power BI, Thoughtspot, Qlikview; within a commercial environment but willing to upskill in Tableau. (Tableau Desktop qualifications and/or a Tableau Public profile would be advantageous).
- Comfortable presenting data visualisations and dashboards to senior stakeholders
- Able to communicate technical concepts effectively to a range of audiences
- Line management or technical coaching of more junior team members
- Knowledge of data visualisation best practices
- SQL experience is desirable, but not essential
- Working on data governance and/or visualisation engagement strategies within a commercial organisation is desirable, but not essential
You may have previously experience as: BI Developer/MI Analyst/Tableau Developer/Tableau Analyst
