Warehouse Operative

Due to continuing expansion we are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to work alongside our existing Warehouse team in Peterborough at our 40,000sq ft premises.

The key skills we are looking for in a successful candidate are:

• Ability to work as part of an established team and independently
• Be confident in managing workloads in an efficient and timely manner.
• Have a flexible approach
• Be able to work on own initiative but also follow direction.
• Able to drive transit style vehicle
• Previous experience as a Warehouse operative is preferable.
• Good attention to detail.
• Fork Lift licence would be beneficial.

This position can be physically demanding and some transporting of glass may be required, and as such you must have a strong duty of care to minimise glass damage and breakages.

Full clean driving licence required as you maybe required to deliver glass to other depots on occasions.

Core working hours are:

Monday to Friday 8.30 to 17.30 but could be required up to 18.30 on occasions.

Saturday 8.30 to 12.30

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Peterborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
