Junior Technical Support Team Member
IP Voice Networks have a vacancy for a full-time Junior Technical Support / Help Desk support advisor.
We are a hardworking, faced paced Telecommunications based business serving thousands of customers globally via our retail brands.
We are looking for a friendly and confident person to join our front-line support team to help our customers with any general and technical issues.
You will be working from home but working within our virtual office voice and video environment which means that you are constantly in contact with other team members, working as a team and maintaining constant communication.
You will need to have an excellent telephone manner and some basic level technical knowledge of computer networks, however, full technical training will be provided.
The right candidate will deal with customers over the telephone, via email, on a support ticketing system and also via a live web chat facility.
The working hours will be Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm.
Salary: meets national minimum wage
Our global customer base relies heavily on our telecoms network, so it is important that minimal time is taken to resolve their issues and guide them appropriately as required. Our technical support team is a vital part of the ongoing operational efficiency of our company.
Tasks can/will include;
- Configuring VoIP Telephone Systems and networking equipment prior to despatch as per customer requirements
- Diagnosing Hardware & Software faults
- Solving technical problems
- Working with customers to identify issues and advising on the solution
- Logging and keeping records of customer queries
