We are Intrum UK – an award-winning, industry-leading credit management and financial services provider. Due to continued substantial business growth, we are seeking several new customer service representatives to join our friendly team in Reigate, Surrey.
Our customer service representatives are a much-valued position within the company. They are the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in providing the help, support and empathy needed to achieve the best outcome.
So, whether you are a graduate looking to take your first step on a career path, or someone wanting to retrain or develop the skills that you have already gained within the professional services sector, we are keen to hear from you as full training is provided.
About the Role:
- First point of contact for customers via the dialler system taking inbound and outbound calls.
- Work with customers to identify a suitable repayment plan
- Listen to, demonstrate an understanding and empathise with customers to generate a fair outcome
- Build a rapport with customers to create a positive customer experience.
- Become familiar with Intrum’s customer interface and call handling procedures
- Provide guidance to customers on the availability and services of the free debt advice sector
- Take ownership of any follow-up work to ensure the customer is not disadvantaged
- Ensure key performance indicators are met for call quality and compliance
- Adhere to all compliance regulations and security procedures
What You’ll Receive
- Continuous training and mentoring for personal development / progression
- Office / remote / hybrid working options available. To help ensure you have the best experience, you will have your training in our Surrey office ensuring you have maximum support with systems (you will need to be in commutable distance to Reigate, Surrey where the training will be held).
- Beyond training we are flexible with regards to our working arrangements and ask that you speak to us about what works for you.
- OTE of £24,000.00 per annum
- Monthly bonus – up to 20%

Person Specification
- A self-starter with the drive and passion to develop the best outcomes for our customers
- Attention to detail with the ability to emphasise under pressure
- Fluent in English, with good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all times
- Proficient using the internet, email and MS Office programmes
- Good time management skills
