Production Technician

Integrated Graphene have an excellent opportunity for a Production Technician to join our rapidly expanding manufacturing team, working in a high-growth environment with a fast-paced and collaborative culture.

Your purpose in the Role:

As the Production Technician you will be responsible for the manufacture, quality control, testing and delivery of manufactured product to a wide range of internal and external customers.

Based at our facility in Euro House, Stirling, you will work alongside our manufacturing team as well as R&D and Product Design teams to deliver high-quality product and help the company achieve our ambitions.

With a reporting line to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work and develop your skills across a wide range of manufacturing and laboratory processes.

What you will do and how you will succeed:

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain a range of equipment in a variety of production and development environments.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc quality control, data collection and test procedures for a wide range of products and processes.
  • Undertake basic analysis of results and record/report findings appropriately.
  • Perform chemical and electrochemical QC procedures within Health & Safety and production schedule requirements.
  • Escalate issues quickly and work alongside Quality, Manufacturing and Development Engineers to root cause technical issues if they arise.
  • Create, update and review work instructions and other documentation in line with the company’s Quality and Health & Safety policies.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out according to our safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
  • Suggest, develop and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in a production or regulated laboratory setting operating equipment within a GMP (or GLP) and/or lean environment.
  • Experience operating a range of manufacturing, metrology and testing machines and devices.
  • An understanding of Good Lab Practice and basic scientific techniques - exposure to materials processing and subsequent quality control would a fantastic plus
  • A relevant degree within a manufacturing- or process-related qualification or certification would be beneficial to demonstrate professional commitment, however, is not essential.
  • To be successful you will have excellent communications skills, team spirit and happy working independently
  • Able to demonstrate examples of prioritising competing demands in a production environment.

  • We are currently going through an exciting period of growth and will shortly be opening a second facility within Stirling, access to a car is therefore desirable as there will be a possible requirement to work across the two facilities.

This role is offered as a full-time position, working hours are 37.5 hours per week. Please talk to us about alternative working arrangements.
