The post holder is responsible for providing project management, application support and development in primarily the Plant Maintenance & Purchasing modules of INOVYN’s SAP (ECC6) environments and related systems.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities
- Provide functional and configuration expertise in support of SAP ERP and related applications and interfaces with focus on Purchasing/Materials management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Warehouse Management (WM).
- Coordinate and actively participate in all stages of project development, including taking the lead in System, User Acceptance and Integration testing.
- Provide scope and direction to other team members (including third party developers) by providing clear and concise requirements and coordinating development efforts.
- Lead training on the relevant Industrial modules and establish key user networks to ensure strong coordination of best practice, unified processes and initiatives.
- Ensure that reporting and management information requirements are being met by the appropriate systems through a process of user education and report development.
Key skills & experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent technical qualification.
- Business background in relevant industrial areas essential.
- A minimum of 5 years experience using in relevant SAP module(s) implementation (including design, configuration, testing).
- Ideally able to read, debug, update ABAP / SAPscript / outputs & use LSMW.
- Good knowledge of integrations with other SAP Industrial modules and finance.
- Project management & planning experience.
- IT systems problem analysis, testing and resolution.
- Able to identify and manage the risks, issues and complexities involved in changing business systems.
- Team player who is results orientated, energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated.
- Experienced at writing specifications and preparing/delivering training.
