Content Assistant - Streamly

The Content Assistant supports the Video Content team in production, research and admin. Core production duties include publishing video to the Streamly platform, transcriptions, collating expert profiles, and sourcing/producing thumbnails. The Content Assistant is also expected to help manage the content database, and record and track content analytics. They will contribute ideas, help with research and at times may produce videos or social content or help to produce interviews on site.

• Publish content to the video platform including uploading video, transferring written copy, adding timecodes, keywords and thumbnails
• Use transcription software to add subtitles and script, checking and amending copy as needed
• Keep content and speaker databases up to date and well-managed
• Keep on top of email communication with speakers, maintaining good contact and relations
• Contribute to editorial and planning meetings with creative ideas for content
• Assist with the production of content, including writing supporting text and identifying good-for-social clips

• Degree-level, apprenticeship or similar qualification or relevant experience in the industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills, including ability to self-direct
• Excellent written communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Technically competent and able to pick up new software or applications as needed
• Interest in and aptitude for content production, particularly video
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop an advantage
• Video editing skills are not essential, but may be an advantage
