This role will support the application of computational modelling using exascale computing by assisting in the re-development of core algorithmic components of the Nektar++ spectral/hp element framework. This position will investigate the role of high-performance computing and exascale technology, in creating an efficient and flexible programming framework for high-order spectral element methods with a particular focus on compressible flow simulations

You will drive the programming and development of high-order spectral/hp element methods and solver technology, suitable for exascale platforms, that are required to meet a range of challenging problems in the aerospace and energy sectors. These will be implemented in the Nektar++ framework (www.nektar.info). You will also have the opportunity to engage with a number of world-leading partners through the Nektar++ community.
