We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Lead QA Engineer. The role is key to the testing future of the organisation. We are looking for someone to bring tools and practices in to build a strong testing foundation and to rally all our QA engineers together. This role primarily sits with the online booking team which is a strong candidate for automation.

The Team:

Online Booking team develop and run our cruise online booking platform. We are looking to grow this channel so the stability and effectiveness of this platform is key to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the status of testing initiatives to the stakeholder groups and lead triage meetings,
  • Continually improve the testing infrastructure, tools, and processes,
  • Have responsibilities in the process of traceability of requirements through to functional tests and defect lists,
  • Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance,
  • Establish, document, and enhance QA processes; train team members on those processes,
  • Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product,
  • Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally,
  • Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers,
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated),
  • Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritise issues through to resolution.
