Salary is up to £21840 to £25000 per annum depending on experience + over time
Holidays 20 days + statutory holidays

Identitag, an engraving and industrial labelling company, based in Sedgefield, Co. Durham, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic trainee production CNC engraver to join its team.
The role involves
- Preparing computer aided drawings for proposal and manufacturing.
- Communication with customers regarding problems and solutions via phone and email
- Machine setting.
- Operating CNC and laser engraving machines,
- Operating manual machines such as guillotines, fly presses, saws, linishing machines.
- Inspection of parts both visually and by use of measuring equipment.
- Ensuring that all products are of a high quality to uphold the company’s reputation.
- Other ad-hoc activities that may arise.
To be a successful you will have the following skills and experience:
- The ideal candidate will have a background within the manufacturing, engineering, design or signage sector.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following design packages will be an advantage.
- CorelDraw
- Adobe Illustrator
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Photoshop
- Or any other drawing application.
- Full training on engraving CAD/CAM software will be provided
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2019 (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Good communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Good problem-solving skills, creative ability, resilience
- Disciplined work approach
- Confidently work both independently and as part of a team on a variety of jobs
- Able to work from drawings and verbal instructions.
- Work to fine tolerances and to tight deadlines.
