Operational Acceptance Test Lead

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Operational Acceptance Test Specialist, you will join an existing infrastructure test team to support the testing of hardware configuration, operating systems, Network and routing, middleware, database, systems management and security software upgrades across a key UK account.
Please note: Candidates applying for this position should ideally live and work in the UK and not require sponsorship from IBM, to carry out the role


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proficient in working in a Linux and windows server environment.
• Experience of Non-Functional test execution (Resiliency/DR and OAT ).
• Experience of base infrastructure testing and security testing across multiple locations.
• Ability to analyse the non-functional requirements vs test results (logs review, DB data and System alerts… etc).
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis of tests results and work with Developers, Architects and Technical teams to analyze the issues (root cause analysis of non-functional issues).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure resilience configuration, System management and monitoring tools (Generate periodic reports for environment monitoring).
• Varied knowledge of firewall, switch, router and complex network routing in cross site and multi environment config

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience of writing/executing complex scripts and database queries.
• Ability to present and communicate to varied audience
