The role
Hyve is looking for a highly organised, passionate-about-creative Project Manager to join the Creative team full time working across the Retail, Manufacturing & Engineering (RME) portfolio of events.

As the Creative Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Creative team working closely with the Head of Creative to ensure all designed deliverables, product launches, marketing campaigns and communications are adequately managed, resourced, delivered on time and with the best-quality output always a main focus.

You’ll be calm under pressure, able to keep the team cool when timings are tight and maintain an outstanding standard of delivery. You will be a process specialist used to balancing multiple balls at any one time.

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities

  • Work with delivery teams to prioritise work coming in and channel it to the right people/resource while ensuring all deadlines are met and all deliverables adheres to the brand guidelines.
  • Ensures all marketing touchpoints are consistent, considered for their channel and adhere to the brand tone-of-voice and creative.
  • Be able to edit copy and provide feedback on creative projects to ensure brand guidelines are met and key message(s) are clear.
  • Writing, checking and scrutinising briefs, making sure they’re up to scratch and contain all relevant details for the designers/producers to hit the ground running when they are due to start the work. Chases briefs, making sure they are in ahead of time where possible.
  • Takes the lead on sourcing freelance support from our network when required.
  • Understand, challenge and translate communication briefs into marketing communications that form the campaign plan.
  • Understands the different lead times for different creative mediums to be able to plan resource accordingly, able to spot and alleviate any problems before they arise.
  • Attends weekly campaigns meetings to update the delivery teams, ensure any new planned work is organised and assigned and briefs are in with the relevant resource.
  • Line management of two Creative Communication Producers who are responsible for the output of copy and website content across the Retail portfolio.
  • Be a creative thinker in all aspects of the role, from contributing fresh ideas in meetings to problem-solving and project management.

Skills Required
Skills and experience required

  • 3+ years’ previous experience working within a creative/content capacity, ideally within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Working in a demanding, fast paced environment, on multiple projects often at different stages, where the ability to prioritise is critical to success.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the specific communication and design requirements for different marketing channels.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt tone, messaging and content to different audiences and their behaviour to attract, engage and influence.
  • Passionate about creative and design, with a strong ‘taste’ level.
  • Proven experience of working in fast-paced medium-sized organisations, where everyone is hands on and where the focus is on getting the job done to a consistently brilliant standard.

  • Exceptional process, project management and organisational skills, ensuring the successful, timely delivery of creative projects involving multiple stakeholders.
