Are you looking for the opportunity to earn as you learn, in a role where you can grow your skills and knowledge of data analytics while working towards a SCQF Level 6 qualification in Digital Applications? If so, our Data and Reporting Apprenticeship could be the perfect next step for you!

The role:
We are currently recruiting for a Data and Reporting Apprentice, to be based within our Glasgow Office.

This role will incorporate the Digital Applications SCQF Level 6 qualification with a national Training Provider. It will take approximately 10-12 months to complete and will provide you with the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience as you earn a salary and receive relevant training and support at no cost to yourself. Once completed, this programme will also open the door for potential further employment opportunities with Hymans Robertson.

In this role you will work alongside our Data and Reporting team and you’ll learn to:

  • Source, format and present data securely
  • Perform data entry quickly and accurately through maintenance of internal spreadsheets and databases
  • Communicate and present data outcomes with various team members
  • Blend data from multiple sources as directed
  • You may have the opportunity to work on projects and use software such as PowerBI
  • Adhere to the firm’s Information Security standards, policies and procedures

Is this you?

This would be a great opportunity for school or college leavers or career changers who are looking to kick-start their career and are eager to learn transferable skills that will make you an asset for any employer. You’ll develop most of the necessary skills during your apprenticeship, however we are keen to speak to individuals who are:

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to use their initiative to get tasks done
  • Able to work quickly and accurately, with great attention to detail
  • Keen to use their excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communicators, who enjoy working as part of a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 software or who show a willingness to learn this

Given you'll be working with data and numbers as part of this role, we'd also be looking for you to have studied Maths to at least Scottish Standard Grade level (or equivalent).

In addition to a competitive salary we offer:

  • A flexible selection of employee benefits, so you can choose a package that best matches your lifestyle and needs
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment where your thinking and ideas are encouraged
  • On site mental health and wellbeing support
  • A commitment to helping you develop both personally and professionally, with mentoring opportunities and access to our award-winning learning portal, Aspire
  • Regular social activities, in addition to three days paid volunteering leave each year and a day’s leave to celebrate your birthday

We are continually working to improve our inclusive culture and employ diverse talent. We therefore welcome applications from all persons.
