Junior Sales Engineer

About the opportunity

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks within our central Sales and Marketing team.

Your main duties will include the following:

• Receipt of customer enquiries via email, phone and customer portals
• Contact with external suppliers where required
• Register enquiries on internal trackers
• Tracking customer enquiries via trackers and online dashboards
• Expediting responses from suppliers
• Building back up total costs for all BoM component parts
• Supporting the Sales Engineers in their day to day tasks

Ideally you will have:

• Have an organised approach to work
• Work as part of a busy customer facing sales team
• Demonstrate a keen interest in Engineering willingness to learn
• Can do approach to work
• Excellent communications skills
• Have a good team working ethic, be pro-active and motivated.
• IT literate, with skills in the Microsoft suite of software, in particular Excel.
