Our client, who is an exciting Creative Design & Brand Agency, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team. The agency creates effective design, marketing, print and digital solutions that build brands and businesses. They get to know their client’s businesses, understand their audiences and support them to create effective communications which truly reflect the business’ vision and ambitions. This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and social team.
The role
We are looking for a Graphic Designer who demonstrates creative flair and shows experience in thinking creatively to produce new ideas and exciting concepts. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing projects across all stages – from concept to presentation, from design to production.
- Meeting with clients to discuss the business objectives of each project, showing the confidence and experience to have a sense of the client’s requirements before they even do themselves.
- Developing design briefs that suit the client's purpose.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
- Presenting finalised ideas and concepts directly to clients or the creative director.
- Working with a range of media and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
- Handling multiple design briefs at a time.
- Overseeing workload and ensuring job bags are completed, filed and passed on for invoicing in a timely manner.
- Pitching for new business, with or without a creative director, to potential clients: presenting pitch-winning creative and campaign strategies.
About you
The ideal candidate would have previous experience working in a similar graphic design role within an agency. We are also open to candidates where this would be their first agency role if they can demonstrate strong experience in relationship-building with stakeholders.
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience using Abode Creative Suit, in particular Adobe XD and Photoshop.
Experience working with animation or video editing would also be desirable but is not essential.
Our client is a small team who work closely together, we are looking for candidates who enjoy being hands-on and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
